MECHANICAL FORCE GAUGES

Imada force testers and mechanical force gauges are capable of the highly accurate measurements required in quality testing to determine the strength or functionality of a part or product. They check both compression and tension (push or pull). Standard and special attachments simply screw on to the threaded shafts to provide a variety of ways to grip test samples.

DIGITAL FORCE GAUGES

Imada digital force measurement gauges are state-of-the art,
instruments capable of the highly accurate measurements required in quality testing to determine the strength or functionality of a part or product. These gauges check both compression and tension (push or pull). Standard and special attachments simply screw on to the threaded shafts to provide various ways to grip or test samples.

MANUAL TEST STANDS

Manual test stands offer basic force testing and economy. Lever models offer rapid testing and wheel models precise control.

Combine with any of the standard range Imada force gauges and special attachments to create a dedicated force measurement system for push, pull, snap, peel, penetration, etc.

Capacities up to 500 lbf.

MOTORIZED TEST STANDS

Imada offers basic and advanced motorized test stands that are
available in Standard, High, and Low speeds. Use Z2 or ZP force gauges with MX-Series test stands to enable force control and non destructive testing.
Use any of the standard range Imada force gauges and special
attachments to create a dedicated force measurement system for
push, pull, snap, peel, penetration, etc. Capacities up to 1,100 lbf.

ATTACHMENTS

Imada offers a wide variety of attachments to meet specialized force testing applications. For industries such as aircraft, medical, automotive, electronic, etc.

PUSH / PULL TESTERS

Imada pull testers can provide solutions to a variety of force measurement applications. Force gauge, test stand and attachments are combined into an adaptable system that offers consistent and reliable testing for checking the pull or pull-off force of wire terminals or other components.

The digital force gauges offer selectable units, data output and have an accuracy of ±0.2% F.S.

Their motorized stands combine a screw drive system and high performance brushless motors to provide extremely smooth and powerful operation over the entire speed range.

CRIMP TESTERS

Imada wire pull testers are available in manual or motorized models and can be equipped with dial or digital display units. A variety of special gripping attachments including spring loaded and auto-grip fixtures is available. Data from digital models can be collected via the RS232 port for analysis by our custom data acquisition software.

PEEL TESTERS

Perform quick and efficient peel tests with the motorized peel tester. The MV-220 motorized test stand provides smooth, consistent speed essential for peel testing. The DS2 force gauge features convenient push buttons to select measuring units, measuring modes and includes an RS232 port for data downloads. Special attachments facilitate 90°, 180°, T and rotary peel applications.

Peel tester operation is simple. Adjust the MV-220 travel limits and speed dial, then push the direction switch to achieve accurate, repeatable peel tests. The quick switch rapidly resets the MV-220 for the next test.

Specify DS2 force gauge capacity, choose special attachments and you’re ready to test Velcro, tapes, laminates, packaging and a wide variety of other materials. Options include SW-1 data acquisition software for full SPC and graphing analysis and a digital speed indicator.

SPRING TESTERS

Spring testers for both tension and compression springs may be configured from our complete line of force measurement products. Imada offers lever or wheel-operated spring testers stands, digital force gauges, compression or tension attachments, and digital distance meters to
configure your spring test application.

PUNCTURE TESTERS

The mechanical puncture tester is mounted with a puncture test fixture to check the puncture resistance or hardness of materials like dry wall, foam boards, cardboard, etc. Ideal for handheld penetration tests or mounting to a test stand. Newton and kg units available.

COMPRESSION TESTERS

Compression testers may be configured from our complete line of force measurement products. Imada offers lever, wheel or motorized test stands, digital force gauges, compression or tension attachments, and digital distance meters to configure your compression testers application. Lever action compression testers provide rapid testing, wheel action precise control.
