PPM manufactures two megohmmeters designed for measuring high values of insulation resistance. The A model is a portable device complete with rugged carrying case that has six value ranges (from 1 megohm to 100 gigohms full scale) and four test voltages. The B model is a hand-held unit than operates for 1 to 200 megohms (resistance) and 0 to 600 V RMS (AC or DC voltage), to provide resistance readings within 5 percent. Both units are designed with operator safety in mind.
