Vaisala makes electronic measurement systems and equipment for
meteorology, environmental sciences, traffic safety and industries.
BAROMETERS
Accurate and stable barometers
encompassing OEM and fully configurable, multi-parameter
instruments for laboratory or meteorological applications.
The heart of each barometer is a silicon micromachined
Vaisala BAROCAP® absolute pressure sensor.
CARBON DIOXIDE SENSORS
CO2
instruments and modules with ranges from ppm levels to 20%
with a variety of configurations suitable for HVAC,
ecological, and incubator measurements. Patented Vaisala
CARBOCAP® NDIR sensors have a built-in reference
measurement, providing superior long term stability.
DEWPOINT SENSORS
Covering a wide range
of dewpoint and process temperatures with fast response time
and little long term drift. Vaisala DRYCAP® dewpoint
instruments are used for measuring compressed air, furnace
gas, drying processes, and more.
RELATIVE HUMIDITY SENSORS
A comprehensive assortment of
instruments for measuring relative humidity in almost any
combination of temperatures, pressures, and humidity levels.
There is a Vaisala HUMICAP® instrument for the most
demanding application as well as the most routine.
MOISTURE IN
NATURAL GAS SENSORS
Intrinsically safe instruments with
interchangeable probes for measuring moisture content and
temperature in natural gas. Different probe configurations
facilitate sampling or direct insertion.
MOISTURE IN OIL
SENSORS
Provide continuous, real-time
measurement of moisture in oil. Suitable for use in
lubrication, hydraulic, and transformer oils. Water activity
output is a direct measure of oil quality, regardless of the
age or condition of the oil.
OXYGEN
TRANSMITTERS
Percent oxygen in a gas is measured
using a compact tunable diode laser (TDL) gas spectrometer.
Vaisala SPECTRACAP® oxygen analyzers are the first field
instruments to use this technology. Configurations for
in-situ measurement or extractive sampling are appropriate
for inerting, fermentation, and oxygen deficiency
monitoring.
WEATHER MULTI-SENSOR
The weather multi-sensor is unique,
measuring the six most essential weather parameters (wind
speed and direction, liquid precipitation, barometric
pressure, temperature, and relative humidity) in one fully
integrated instrument with no moving parts.
WIND SENSORS
Ultrasonic wind sensors set the
standard for wind measurement accuracy and reliability in
all climates. A three-transducer layout provides superior
performance in all wind directions.
